Prodigy Search adds National Governing Body CEO placement to their roster

FREEHOLD, NJ (April 28, 2021) — Prodigy Search is pleased to announce their executive recruitment on behalf of the US Sailing Association, placing Alan Ostfield as the organization’s newest Chief Executive Officer. Ostfield joins US Sailing with a comprehensive background in several major professional sports leagues and leading live entertainment organizations. He previously served as the President, North Atlantic for Live Nation Entertainment, and prior to that, Ostfield was President & CEO of the Detroit Pistons and Palace Sports & Entertainment.
With the addition of US Sailing to their client roster, Prodigy Search has evolved into the leader in executive recruitment in the NGB space over the last year alone. Several recent USOPC and NGB success stories for Prodigy Search include USA Hockey, USA Football, USA Team Handball, USA Speedskating, U.S. Association of Blind Athletes, and most recently, Prodigy launched a national search for a new CEO of US Lacrosse.
As US Sailing’s new leader, Ostfield will work closely with the directors, staff, and volunteers to develop and implement US Sailing’s goals, support membership and fundraising initiatives, manage a multitude of programming and partnerships, and be a strategic leader to grow the sport of sailing in the United States.

Ostfield is also currently serving as a member of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Board of Directors and the National Sports Law Institute Board of Advisors.
